Happy Birthday Lorreine! Ilan taon ka na bukas. How time flies. I miss and love you so much. I am so sorry for everything. Please forgive me.
From my Papa via Facebook. How will he know that I have not been or is mad at him for “everything” when he doesn’t even know how old I will be on the 16th. Wait, I’m also trying not to think that he thought my birthday was December 15 (which is bukas even in PI timezone).
I used to be daddy’s little girl. When I was seven, I remember crying so hard when Mama took me and my brother to Manila. Now, two days before turning 21, it dawns on me that I never really had a father and that’s okay. That’s okay because the rest of the world has given me sooo much love and happiness, I never felt that void in my life.
To my dearest friends, I just want to say thank you.
